Georgetown County Watercolor Society Annual Show
What Inspires You?
Our Annual Show is coming up in June. The Theme for this year’s show is "Inspiration! " If you are a member in good standing ( have paid your dues) and have participated in at least three events this last year, you may submit one piece for the show. We do have an entry fee this year of $25.00. This is to help offset some of the cost of the Rice Museum's support.
1. No larger than 24 x 24 framed. (Remember space is limited)
2. $25.00 at time of delivery.
3. Complete attached form and tag.
4. Delivery date is June 12th from 11-4. ( If you are on vacation or can not make it between those hours, let me know and we will make other arrangements)
5. Opening for the show is June 15th from 1-3pm
6. Pick up for art will be August 6 between 11-4
7. The judge for this year’s show will be Becky Taylor from Charleston
8. I think it would be nice and interesting to be able to share your thoughts on what inspires you with our audience. If you would please write a 2-3 sentence about why what you have painted inspires you, Elizabeth will type them up for us and have them to place under our paintings. We need them by the end of MAY! Just email them to me at sharonpaints@spectrum.net.
Georgetown Library Art Show
Celebrating the newly renovated library, our show features 47 paintings from 24 artist members. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Friends of Georgetown Library. Show runs through December 14.
